Installation of DIGITAL door entry system

What advantages does the digital system offer compared to the conventional 4+N system?
The digital system uses a BUS-type connection, where all the connection wires are joined. The system thereby eliminates the need for a separate call wire for every telephone in the house or flat, which means that the number of connection wires does not depend on the size of the installation. This consideration is of particular interest in installations involving a large number of houses or flats.

Can I program the telephones in the workshop or must I program them at the installation site?
The telephones have permanent memory in which the programming code is stored. You can therefore program them along with the entrance panel in the workshop. There is no need to program them on site.

Can I connect any electric lock available on the market?
You can directly connect any 15 Vdc electric lock if its consumption does not exceed 500 mA.

In the installation in which I want to install the door entry system, there is already a 12 Vac electric lock. The consumption of the lock is greater than 1A. How can I activate it?
In such cases, you can use the ASC-001 selector/switch accessory in conjunction with an additional power supply unit to feed the electric lock. You will be able to activate electric locks with a maximum consumption of 2A.

In a factory, access is controlled by a system using a keypad. It is decided that a digital electronic door entry system should be installed as well and that both systems should operate the same electric lock. Is this possible?
For this type of installation, use the APC-001 accessory, which will allow you to operate the electric lock from either of the two systems. Moreover, you will be able to activate electric locks using alternating or direct current.
