In this case, the application of Artificial Intelligence allows a qualitative leap with respect to current models, since it facilitates the control of users or patients in a humane and efficient way. By not needing physical elements (wearables or tags), the person is not stigmatized, traditionally forced to wear a necklace or bracelet, for example.

Indeed, it is now possible to eliminate any accessory that may be lost or cause inconvenience to users or patients. With a single image hosted on the server (through the ACCURO Viewer application) and through the cameras installed in the centre, the system is capable of recognizing and locating any person and launching an alarm in the programmed cases, at the same time that, for example, it closes a specific door.

And without violating any legislation on Data Protection: the user will have given their prior consent to the file of their image on the local server and the recording of images is not necessary, so that no one can have access to this information.

It is, in short, a tool that increases the safety of the user or patient and optimizes the working time of professionals, reducing operating costs.

In other words, there was a "reactive" response from the nursing team to an event that had already occurred.

Now, with the application of AI, the responses become “active”. In other words, the system makes it possible to anticipate problems before they occur, providing high value-added services.
