ALCAD fiber optic links: simplify your installations with complex topology and long distances thanks to our optical transmitters and receivers

ALCAD puts more than 30 years of experience in the multimedia sector at the disposal of collective installations of terrestrial and satellite TV with distribution to multiple zones and over long distances, in which it is preferable to carry out the distribution through fiber optics instead of coaxial cable. ALCAD's fiber optic links work in a very simple way, with a modulable transmitter and compatible with the Himalaya range and a receiver equipped with a gain regulator and variable equalizer to adjust signal levels.
OT-512 Optical Transmitter
Modular equipment compatible with the himalaya series, for the input of TV signals in terrestrial band and satellite in IF band. Distribution up to 32 optical nodes, reception points.
It is a suitable device for installations with a complex topology, with distribution to multiple zones or with large distances, resulting in a simpler distribution. Moreover, the fiber optic distribution avoids the use of cascades of distribution amplifiers, in addition to solving the problems of signal attenuation in cases where the distribution is made to multiple zones.
It can transmit a SAT signal, a polarity, coming from a satellite treatment equipment or directly from an LNB. Powers the LNB and selects the polarity in case of using a Single Universal LNB.
Optical modulation is easily adjustable via two independent OMl controls for terrestrial and satellite TV.

Characteristics:
- LNB power supply with 13/18 Vdc 0/22 kHz control: it can transmit a SAT signal, a polarity, coming from a satellite treatment equipment or directly from an LNB. Powers the LNB and selects the polarity in case of using a Single Universal LNB.
- 10 mW laser: for large installations, typically up to 32 optical nodes.
- Laser overload indicator: in the event of a laser malfunction.
- Laser switch: Allows you to deactivate the laser to handle the product safely.
OR-418 Optical Receiver
Single-mode fiber optic receiver with a wavelength from 1310 to 1550 nm for terrestrial and satellite TV signals. It converts to a radio frequency electrical signal for coaxial cable. It has a variable equalizer and gain regulator to adjust signal levels. The power supply is built-in.
