ALCAD presents its new antennas, with better filtering against possible interference in the LTE700 band

With the next end of the process of releasing the so called Second Digital Dividend and the start-up of the 5G networks, it is time to prepare installations to avoid subsequent adaptations forced by the interferences that will occur in the LTE700 band.
ALCAD anticipates market needs by expanding its range of antennas with three new models, which will allow better filtering against possible mobile telephone interference from channel 48 (700 MHz), coinciding with the start-up of 5G networks.
In this way, it will be possible to ensure signal reception free of the problems that mobile phone repeaters can generate thanks to its 40 dB rejection of the LTE700 band, as can be seen in the following graph:
Additionally, our catalogue of solutions for the new situation is completed with two symmetrizers that have a built-in rejection filter, an ideal solution to optimize expenses by making it possible to adapt antennas not prepared for this new scenario.
Antennas:
Our NEO antennas are designed to cover the UHF band up to 694 MHz and reject 4G and 5G telephony signals thanks to their symmetrizer with built-in LTE700 rejection filter. Easy to assemble and adjust (no tools are required for installation), they guarantee maximum robustness and the greatest safety during installation. Its attractive design, on the other hand, perfectly reflects the excellent electrical and mechanical qualities they offer.
- NEO-082: it has the best reception of DTT channels and the highest gain on the market (18 dBi).
- NEO-042: the "little sibling" of the previous one, it has a gain of 16 dBi.
On the other hand, our double array BU-452 antenna is designed to cover the UHF band up to 694 MHz, rejecting 4G and 5G telephony signals thanks to its symmetrizer with built-in LTE700 rejection filter. Its assembly is quick and easy: all components are pre-assembled and no tools are required during the process. The BU-452 antenna is supplied in a single package, but is also available in a multiple package under the reference GA-452.
Symmetrizers:
An ideal solution to optimize expenses, since it allows adapting previously stored antennas. Our symmetrizers are designed to cover the UHF band up to 694 MHz, while rejecting the LTE700 mobile phone band thanks to its built-in rejection filter. With F-type connector protected inside the balun box, its assembly is quick and easy, without tools.
