Success of the BASQUE LIVING virtual fair for architecture and engineering studies, with more than 1,000 visitors

The first virtual BASQUE LIVING fair, an event which has brought together more than 25 companies from the Basque Country and Navarra, has attracted more than 1,000 visitors worldwide during the past month. The balance, therefore, could not be more positive and ALCAD Facility, as a manufacturer of telecommunications, security and multimedia solutions for non-residential buildings, did not miss it.

It was the first time that our business unit opted for an online fair, marked by the current pandemic and which has forced us to communicate virtually with professionals in our sector, in this case architecture and engineering studies.

The result could not have been better: more than 1,000 professionals and companies have attended an event aimed at Spanish, English and French-speaking audiences. Through downloadable material, videos and links to our corporate website we have had the opportunity to publicize our specific solutions for non-residential buildings:

• ACCURO: nurse-call communication system and access control for hospitals and nursing homes.
• LIVERO: 100% IP intercom and access control system for non-residential buildings: shopping centers, prisons, hotels, stations and others.
• IPTV: TV solutions over IP and digital signage.
• ATTENDO: low-cost autonomous solution for generating and receiving alerts for adapted toilets and changing rooms.

In addition, we have held specific chat sessions with some of our experts: Javier Florián (commercial director for Iberia and LATAM), David Lorente (Prescription and Presales manager for Iberia and LATAM), Lidia Díaz de Cerio (Export Presales Manager) and Pauline MARTY (Export Sales Manager) have been in charge of receiving and attending the virtual visits to our stand.

These chats have been complemented by the celebration of the webinar "ROLEPLAY | Life safety & Design: how to combine them in 4 examples", in which our colleagues Lidia and Pauline have given practical answers to four very common situations of our market.

In short, it has been a very valuable experience for the manufacturing companies that make up the HABIC cluster, dedicated to furniture, finishes and coatings, structures, facades and enclosures, security systems and access control, lighting systems, storage systems, curtains separation techniques and systems.
