Barcelona branch: a comprehensive renovation to offer exceptional service and shopping experience

The ALCAD branch in Barcelona, the most important in Spain, has renewed its image through a comprehensive renovation that will offer customers a more pleasant shopping experience and improved final service. The main highlight of this refurbishment is a spectacular showroom with a meeting area and functional panels showcasing our products and solutions.
True to ALCAD's philosophy of providing outstanding customer care, the Barcelona branch works tirelessly to ensure our customers' shopping experience is exceptional. In the image, from left to right, Enrique Soler and Andrés Civantos (warehouse managers), Iván Capdet (branch manager) and José Antonio Márquez (sales representative) bring the branch to life every day.
"This renovation has been carried out with the aim of providing customers with a more pleasant shopping experience and improving the final service," explains Iván.
From now on, "we will have specific spaces for individual attention and, at the same time, be able to attend to different people in various adapted areas, with more pleasant lighting and furniture," adds our manager.
Larger spaces
The change is noticeable right from the entrance. A new sign and a bright, open reception area welcome visitors, where our products are the undisputed protagonists.
"We aimed to renew our image, which is now more modern, with more spacious areas and attention zones where customers can take a small break to relax during their stressful workday, in a comfortable and pleasant environment," he highlights.
The branch has a total area of 400 m², including reception, offices, 80 square metres dedicated to the showroom and meeting room, and 200 square metres for the warehouse. In this ample space, "we receive an average of 10 companies visiting in person and handle about 15-20 direct transactions through various means such as email, phone, WhatsApp, etc.," he specifies.
Personalised customer service
Customer care, as the company's main premise, is the number one priority. Thus, the physical limits of the branch extend beyond the four walls of the physical facilities.
"We travel daily to deliver parts to the construction site or to resolve issues that may arise in an installation. We know that time is money for our customers, and we aim to resolve any incidents as quickly as possible. This is something they greatly appreciate," emphasises José Antonio Márquez.
New showroom for training and live demonstrations
The most significant change is the new showroom, a multifunctional space where we can hold regular technical training sessions for our various systems for our regular customers and collaborators. Additionally, it allows us to conduct commercial presentations to different target groups of collaborators, installers, engineers, integrators, property managers, prescribers, etc.
Iván Capdet gives a brief virtual tour: "It is a large interior room in the facility, which we have refurbished to create two distinct spaces."
On one hand, "a meeting room to host small training sessions or informal presentations, equipped with a small café area." On the other hand, "a large training and demonstration room with two large functional panels, allowing us to interact with the various brand products from both the Facility and Home business units."
A more efficient warehouse area
The branch facilities are completed with a spacious warehouse area, which has also been resized and adapted to modern times, where our customers and partners can find the most common references from our extensive product catalogue.
