Digital (coax)

DIGITAL is a 2-wires audio door entry system for medium-sized installations, up to 96 homes with a push-button entrance panel and up to 950 with a keypad entrance panel. The communication bus to telephones lacks polarity connection. It has central concierge that allows communication between the houses and the concierge or security guard.

In the digital door entry system and electronic video intercom, the communication between the entrance panels and the dwellings is carried out by a BUS type connection.

When there is no call wire to identify the devices of each dwelling, each one is assigned a specific digital code, different for each dwelling. This assignment is what is known as device programming and is done from the main street panel of the installation. The devices that are programmed are the indoor units and the connection supports of the dwellings.

The technology incorporated in the digital door entry system and electronic video door entry system has allowed to implement some features and functions with the aim of facilitating both the realization of different types of installation, and their use by users (including future maintenance):

• Communication system with BUS type connection, without connection polarity to the dwellings.
• Digital electronic door entry system (AUDIO) with 2-WIRES connection.
• Digital electronic video door entry system (VIDEO + AUDIO) with 4+COAXIAL connection or 4+TWISTED PAIR.
• Direct connection between the entrance panels of the different accesses.
• Possibility of installing several equipment per dwelling.
• System with secret communication and electronic call.
• Assistance in the housing devices programming.
• Help in problem detection.
• Knowledge by the user and by the visitor about the state of the system.
• Knowledge by the visitor about the state of the call.
• Auto start function in digital video door entry system installations.
• Possibility to visualize the signal of the telecamera (coaxial) on the TV of the dwelling: video intercom installations.

Characteristics:

• Wiring: 2 non-polarized wires, flexible topology. (The bus between the entrance panel and the handset lacks connection polarity. In video door entry system installations the wiring is 4 wires + coaxial).
• Cable types:
  • Parallel 2x1mm2 (for distances up to 100m).
  • Parallel 2x2,5mm2 (for maximum distances from 100m to 200m).
• Max. distance outdoor entrance panel to indoor unit: 200m.
• No. of homes: 950.
• Terminal connections: 2 non-polarized wires. Possibility of connection in derivation or cascade (from housing to housing). In the case of video door entry system terminals, the wiring is 4 wires + coaxial).
• Supply voltage: 15Vcc.

TED-001 (1 pushbutton) and TED-002 (2 pushbuttons) handset models offer bidirectional audio communication both between the entrance panel and the dwelling, and between the concierge and the dwelling (with the "secret" function to avoid somebody else from listening to the conversation).

Also, in the case of a video installation, the color indoor unit model MVC-002 with coaxial cable connection is available.

Digital concierge:

The ALCAD digital concierge system will allow you to control the access to the building in a very comfortable and simple way. Possibilities:

• Centralize calls coming from the entrance panel.
• Receive calls from homes.
• Call homes.
• Communicate the home and the person making the call from the entrance panel.
• Record unanswered calls.
• If the concierge has a indoor unit, it will also allow you to visually identify the person making the call from the entrance panel.
• Activate and deactivate the concierge entrance panel by entering a code on the board itself.
