With ACCUROaccess, it is possible to integrate an IP access control system in our ACCURO nurse call communication platform. Thanks to this, hospitals and residences have the opportunity to confirm presence in a room and at the same time open a door with traceability; In addition, the possibility of creating up to 6 levels of permits, even with door-to-door permission control, multiplies its possibilities, adapting to the particular needs of each centre. ACCUROaccess has all the advantages of an IP access control center with traceability, offering the possibility of registering and generating reports, making various queries... Its integration in our ACCURO nurse call communication platform offers the centre a tool that only ALCAD can currently offer the market: the fusion, on the same platform, of a nurse call communication system with an access control system with traceability, being able to confirm presence in the room while opening the door.

Its structure is simple: for each connected intercom point (CHC-23x / CHC-04x / CIC-231) it is possible to integrate an IP access control system. The result is a powerful tool that greatly facilitates the management and day-to-day work of the staff, with enormous customization possibilities.

On the one hand, it allows the healthcare personnel to make presence in each room, opening the door with traceability and confirming the presence simultaneously. On the other, it greatly facilitates management, by adapting to the particular needs of each centre. In this sense, permissions can be customized: up to 6 types of users can be created, with different permissions and even with door-to-door permission control. For example, permits could be created for management, for doctors and nurses, for cleaning and / or maintenance equipment, and for users.

As for patients and users, their experience also improves, getting closer to the concept of a "guest": their stay will be more pleasant, resulting in a state of greater tranquility and a feeling of superior security. In this sense, in the case of nursing homes that they deem appropriate, the residents themselves will have the possibility of opening the door with an RFID bracelet, in the same way as it is done in hotels or in those residences that are contemplated like supervised apartments. The feeling of independence will be greater without sacrificing security, and with the confidence that the traceability of all the activity offers.

ACCURO: a powerful brain for managing IP alerts and notifications

Its modular architecture makes ACCURO a versatile, expandable and integrable platform, since it allows adding modules, such as ACCUROaccess, in a simple way in those installations that require it. It is also a secure system, being based on a local server with the possibility of remote access (with the option of configuring the systems and the server in high availability).

The nurse call communication system is the heart of ACCURO, managed through the ACCUROviewer and ACCUROmanager management and control software. ACCUROviewer is adapted for smartphones, tablets and PCs, allowing the display of calls and alarms in 'blueprint' format. It allows a much more efficient management of users and / or patients and in a more hygienic way, by being able to replace common control posts.

In addition to the access control module, ACCURO can integrate the following ALCAD's own systems:

• Alarm for bathrooms and changing rooms for disabled people: with easily identifiable alert calls, our solution complies with international regulations  regarding safety against the risk of entrapment in rooms.
• Emergency call points: ACCUROrefugium has a tactile intercom central unit for areas of refuge, as well as public toilets, changing rooms and common areas that complies with international regulations.
• Wandering user monitoring: a module that is presented as an ally of care work in patients with orientation problems, Alzheimer's, senile dementia... avoiding leaks thanks to its control mechanisms.
• IPTV: ALCAD places a complete TV solution over IP networks 'from roof to room' at the service of hospitals and residences. 100% made in ALCAD, offers entertainment to users or patients, not only with conventional TV channels but through its own content.

Likewise, our platform is capable of integrating into third-party systems, increasing its possibilities:

• Fire Alarms: Lets you schedule an evacuation announcement to be sent to all nursing posts and phones in rooms (general call) or only to nursing post phones when the fire alarm system is activated.
• PBX: allowing its integration with the hospital's telephone system (thanks to our ASTERISK core).
• HIS: being integrated into hospital information systems through HL7 or other protocols to identify patients and the management of staff tasks at the bedside.
